Sarah & Nick
Sarah & Nick met in Charleston many years ago briefly, only to go their separate ways. At the time, Sarah knew there was something special about him, but it wasn't until 3 years later when Nick saw her out and went over to say hello that their path began. Nick is from Charleston and Sarah has called it home for some time, so it was a special part of their wedding day to be able to invite friends and family from all over to celebrate in their city.
The wedding took place behind a row of quaint cottages along the seashore. That morning Sarah got ready in one of the cottages with a few close friends. She surprised her mom by walking out in her wedding dress, which was seriously amazing on her, and her dad even got to see the dress again, taking him back all those years to their own wedding day. Afterwards, Sarah got into her real wedding dress, a knockout classic, while Nick finished up getting ready in the cottage next door.
Their ceremony kept with Catholic tradition, and I love how everyone is invited to do Communion together, remembering the gift we have in Jesus' sacrifice and the family we now get to be a part of together because of Him. Afterwards, the reception was held underneath a tent on the small lawn next to the shore, where Nick & Sarah released a balloon in memory of Nick's dad, who passed away several years ago. And after sweet toasts and a savory meal, complete with some Cajun flare for Sarah's Louisiana family, the big group of family and close friends danced the night away.
Sarah & Nick's exit took them to a boat waiting close by, and we ended the night with a little cruise around the harbor. Cheers, Sarah & Nick! It was such a blessing to be a part of y'all's day!
