Caryn & Ryan
Caryn & Ryan wanted a day that reflected their personalities, and that meant a day filled with color. When I saw that their #1 inspiration was Amanda Jewel Floral Design (who was responsible for the knock-out florals for the day), I knew it was going to be a creative and beautiful day.
Then I got the call that Caryn had gone with a red dress made by Carol Hannah Bridal… that Sentimentalist did it again!
She may have taken inspiration from her mom, who’d decided to wear blue to her own wedding day to Caryn’s dad. When she stepped into her dress, Caryn’s mom presented her with a little token of old & blue— a piece of the wedding gown and suit her parents had worn on their wedding day to pin into Caryn’s dress.
They kept things simple with friends & family, opting out of formal bridal parties, and instead deciding to honor the large group of people they love dearly by having them each process down the aisle to take their seat at the beginning of the ceremony.
Brie Owens of Chancey Charm sought out colorful backdrops to complement the style of the day, which totally MADE their portraits.
This is only my second time photographing at the Stave Room in Atlanta. The days were completely different in style, but the Stave Room offers a blank canvas to fill as you please. It’s quickly becoming a favorite in the Atlanta area!
Congratulations, Caryn & Ryan! I hope your marriage is already so full of blessing!
