Cissy & Will came together with their combined 11 kids, extended family, and friends at the Columbus Botanical Gardens.
This day was so full of meaningful touches. Chelsea LITERALLY thought of everything, and it made my heart so happy to learn about the different ways she incorporated her memories throughout the day. For starters, Chelsea chose her grandmother’s old house, now a B&B, to host their friends & family for she & Christian to promise their lives together. Chelsea & her sister grew up visiting the house over summers, and the place was brimming with shared memories.
Madison & Brent are from my hometown of good ‘ole McDonough. They knew their guest list would largely be their church family who’ve played a significant role in their relationship thus far and would love to witness this special day, so the two found a spot not too far from town and met on a beautifully sunny day to get married…
Marlies is from Germany, Victor is from Venezuela, they met in Spain on the Camino de Santiago, and they just eloped in Idaho Springs, Colorado at St. Mary’s Glacier. Who knew a hike would lead to all of this! Marlies wore her traditional Bavarian dress to have a bit of home with her, and the two said their vows overlooking a breathtaking view of the Rockies, with Victor’s younger brother, their dog, and myself as witnesses to this amazing day!
There's just something special about these two. SO much joy was a part of this day and is a part of who they are. The sweet simplicity of their love for each other & their friends and family is infectious, and you just want to stay a little longer with them and soak it up some more. If you can't tell, I just really love these two and am so excited to have been a part of their day.
Oh what fun it was to be a part of this wedding day! It is absolutely perfect that Hannah & Rob found each other to spend their lives together. She's grown up going down to St. Simons her whole life, and it's basically a second home. Rob grew up as a native to the small town, and the two met years ago as only seems natural.
