Anna & Tommy Ross
It seems like so long ago that I sat with Anna over coffee to talk about her wedding day. I don't know what it is, but that girl instantly felt like a friend, and I was so excited to help capture their special day and to meet Tommy Ross, who couldn't attend on account of work needing to be done on the farm. Their engagement session is still one of the sweetest times spent taking photos (here) using his family's farm and the house he built for the two of them to start their lives together once they married.
The two planned for an early spring wedding on family's property. When I arrived I did a little drive around to familiarize myself with the location and happened upon this stunning field around from the barn. There were SO many pretty things in bloom that weekend, and I knew all the farmer men would say they were weeds (I was right, as soon as TR got to the field he wanted to know what we were doing taking pictures in a bunch of weeds, wild turnips to be exact) but to us that day they were all perfectly placed flowers.
There's just something special about these two. SO much joy was a part of this day and is a part of who they are. The sweet simplicity of their love for each other & their friends and family is infectious, and you just want to stay a little longer with them and soak it up some more. If you can't tell, I just really love these two and am so excited to have been a part of their day.
Y'all have luck with the watermelon season, and I wish heaps of blessings on your life together!
Cheers Anna & TR!
